Egyptian star opens up about dispute
Tamer Hosni is taking producer Mohamed Subki to court over unpaid fees for starring in the hit film Omar and Salma, Arabstoday learnt in an exclusive interview.
The Egyptian superstar expressed his sadness at the breakdown
in relations between himself and Subki, saying the decision to take legal action was a last resort.
“He pushed me to behave this way. He continued to refuse to give me the rest of my earnings for the film, even though it achieved high revenues,” said Hosni.
The actor said he would have no objections in working with Subki again in the future, whom he loves and respects, but only “after he pays me what I deserve,” he added.
Hosni's latest album I Love You, is currently tops Virgin Mega stores best-selling albums list.
