Egyptian singer Medhat Saleh
Ydeek we Ydeena (May God sustains us) is the new album by Egyptian singer Medhat Saleh, released last week. Its launching was delayed several times due to current events in
Egypt.
Saleh told 'Arabsytoday' that he keeps an eye on the distribution of the album throughout different regions. He is holding a press conference, next week, to learn the feedback of fans, journalists, and critics. He stated that he can't wait to hear what fans think of his latest work, "I have great confidence in them[fans] despite the changes taking place in the music industry, nowadays,"he added.
The album includes 12 songs including a duet with Lebanese singer Natasha, entitled Lessa Yadob (just started), and Zay el-Ada (as usual), which is the Arabic version of Frank Sinatra's My Way, in addition to Helft B'raby (I swore God), about the revolution of January 25.
Medhat Saleh had announced earlier, his aim to release two singles. He is also planning to release an album with religious songs soon
