Hundreds of bands will perform at the 5-day festival
Gates opened for Glastonbury 2013 on Wednesday morning, to let in the estimated 135,000 music fans expected to arrive at the festival
.
Throngs of avid supporters flocked onto the open fields, laden with rucksacks, tents and crates of beer.
Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis said the weather combined with the line-up meant fans will get \"an unusually good festival.\"
The 77-year-old farmer, who began Britain’s biggest event on his Somerset farm in 1970, said, \"You won\'t see anything else like this in the whole world.\"
Over 2000 performances on multiple platforms will take place over five days, which begins on June 26.
Music from rock bands, jazz, drum n bass and soul groups will all play at the event, which attracts music lovers from all over the world.
