Egyptian singer Mohamed Nour
Egyptian singer Mohamed Nour has decided to postpone his new album Helwa Al-Ayam (Lovely Days), which was scheduled to release in July, due to the ongoing conflict in his home country.
In an exclusive interview with Arab Today, the Egyptian singer said that he had decided not to do anything during Ramadan except for fast, pray and charity work.
Nour affirmed that the events in Egypt affected him terribly, as he had to delay his album ten times due to the political situation in the country. The singer added that he was forced to change some of the album songs twice, which led to increased costs.
\"I\'ve been working on this album for three years,\" Nour tells us, \"I named it Helwa Al-Ayam (Lovely Days) in the hope that Egypt will soon see good days ahead of it.\"
The Egyptian singer is also a member of the music band WAMA, confirming that he is now working on a new album with the group.
He went on to deny rumours about leaving the band, stressing that the new album will be \"different\" as the group is marking its tenth anniversary.
