Some actors and actresses are competing in this Ramadan season through radio series instead of TV dramas that take more effort and time. “Arab Today” reveals these artists including, actor Mohamed Henedy who was the first one to announce heis participation in a radio drama calls “The miser is me”, which tells the story of a young man finds himself in awkward situation because of his miserliness. The show is starring Rania Youssef and Nour Ehab, and it is scheduled to be broadcast on Radio 9090 during Ramadan.
Comedian actor Hany Ramzy will also participates in a radio show with Nashwa Mustafa, but the name of this show hasn’t been chosen yet. Actress Kinda Alloush and actor Amr Youssef will work together in their first drama “Tom and Cherry” after marriage on “Energy” radio channel. Actor Mohammed Ramadan also skipped TV to present a comedy radio drama called “Without any magic” on radio 9090, with many other artists such as, Lotfi Labib, Anam Salousa, Ehab Fahmy, Ahmed Siam and Mohammed Goma’a.
Young actor Ali Rabie also participates in a new radio series called “A new Chef” with number of artists like, Ahmed Seyam. Heba Magdy and Majid Al – Kadwani are working together on a social and comedy radio drama called “Friday mail” which discusses some problems that face most of the Egyptians in a comedy way. Actress Zeina will aslo appear on Radio through a drama called “Captain Forshiha”, that will be broadcasted on “Energy” radio channel that is owned by business man, Walid Mustafa.
