Israeli air strike on Gaza
Gaza – MENA
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has forced businesses to halt activities, costing them a total of $40 million in losses, announced the Gaza Chamber of Commerce.
The brutal war against Gaza over the past eight days has led to a complete paralysis in the economic
movement in the Palestinian enclave, chamber spokesman Maher al-Tabaa said in a statement Saturday.
The closure of the commercial terminal Karam Abu-Salem during the war made traders and importers incur huge losses, he said.
Karam Abu-Salem crossing is currently the only portal to allow access of commodities to the Gaza Strip.
