Sharjah - Arab Today

H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa CEO of Sharjah Expo and Chairman of the Arab Union for International Exhibitions & Conferences (AUIEC), has been selected an endorser for the 45TH round meeting of the Arab Qualitative Specialized Unions in pan-Arab economic unity, amid convention of the 2ND Arab Conference for Industrial & Real Estate Investment that the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce & Industry hosted, recently.
H.E. Ambassador Mohamad M. Al Rabie Secretary General of Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU), welcomed AUIEC’s active participation headed by H.E. Saif Al Midfa Chairman of AUIEC and H.E. Mahmoud Al Jarrah Secretary General, respectively.  Al Rabie hailed the union significant role in supporting the Arab Economy through the display of Arab commodities and products and their promotion in various exhibition venues in several countries.
Both parties held a meeting in AUIEC’s Chairman’s office in Sharjah, where they discussed various mechanisms to develop the exhibitions sector in the Arab World and means to support Arab industries and products amid competition from foreign companies.
H.E. Mohamed M. Al Rabie stressed AUIEC is one of many Arab specialized unions with high expectations to develop and shed the light upon Arab-made products, especially with fierce competition and spread of globalization. “We look forward to AUIEC to spread around the exhibitions industry and make many consumer products available directly with cost price to reduce the burden on consumers.
Al Rabie emphasized the need for “AUIEC to work hard in the coming period to overcome such circumstances.”  “We look forward to his excellency the union chairman as a prominently active Arab figures to gather forces and efforts to develop Arab Industry and we are confident of his capability to do so due to his characteristics and potentials for achievement,” added Al Rabie.
Al Rabie pointed out: “We want to prove that Arabic industries are capable in filling the gaps that are benefited by foreign industries, where they can practice pressure on producers and manufacturers in what they possess from experiences, effective marketing tools and support from their corresponding countries.”
H.E. Saif Al Midfa expressed his sincere gratitude to H.E. Mohamad Al Rabie for his excellency’s great support to the union and confidence in its capabilities.  Al Midfa said: “AUIEC will put all its capabilities and resources for the support of Arab industries, display and reach out everywhere in the region and the world.”  “We will double our efforts in supporting and promoting Arab commodities and products with competitive prices to their foreign rivals in all specialized exhibitions that AUIEC organizes across the Arab World,” said Al Midfa, in addition to opening new horizons for Arab Trade in international markets through tense hosting of specialized exhibitions, increasing participation, following up and executing recommendations that are announced at the AUIEC’s different forums, workshops and conferences and attended by Arab governments’ officials and representatives.
