The Egyptian government, represented by the Ministry of Supply, started its preparations for Eid al-Fitr throught providing commodities and holiday supplies. Brigadier-General Ehab Al-Leithi, Chairman of Al-Ahram Company for Consumer Parks, revealed that large amounts of products related to the religious holiday are scheduled to be presented at the company's outlets in the governorates of Cairo and Giza to provide all the needs of citizens, including cakes and biscuits as well as the flour and food commodities.
He added that frozen Poultry and fresh meat will continue to be presented on daily basis for the citizens, saying that Greater Cairo Bakery Company started to produce cake and biscuits to be presented for the citizens during the coming period through the company’s outlets at reduced prices at rates of reduction ranging between 20 to 30% compared to the same prices of products in other markets.
He stressed that the company is keen to provide the commodities to the citizens during Eid Al Fitr at reduced prices at rates of reduction ranging between 20 to 30% compared to the same prices of products in other markets.
He stressed that all the products of the company characterized by high quality and low prices, and that the company has the readiness to provide any quantities needed by major entities, whether companies or trade unions as well as the provision of cakes and biscuits at the company's outlet. He added that a kilo of biscuits will be offered at a price of 42 pounds, and cakes for 63 pounds and cookies for nuts of 84 pounds.
