Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of Ajman’s Permanent Committee for Economic Development, has praised the efforts of all local economic authorities and their desire to increase its rate of economic growth, by providing advanced electronic services that fulfil the needs of companies and factories.
While chairing the sixth session of the Ajman Executive Council’s Permanent Committee for Economic Development, he praised the efforts of the committee members towards achieving economic development, and submit the necessary recommendations for the growth and sustainability of the emirate’s diverse sectors, along with the continuous support of the wise leadership.
The session reviewed the activities of the committee, several ongoing economic projects and the latest developments in the emirate’s economy.
The committee also discussed major opportunities and the challenges facing the local economy, as well as how to achieve the strategic goals of green economy through the development of green economy sectors, a competitive environment to attract investment.
A presentation on the future direction of the Tourism Development Department in Ajman was also held during the meeting, highlighting the fact that the tourism sector includes many influential areas such as transportation, housing, activities and tourism and leisure destinations, stressing the necessity to link all tourism projects with the visions and ideas of local tourism offices, hotels representatives and entrepreneurs.
The participants were briefed about the major smart applications and e-services that will serve the real estate sector in Ajman, including electronic and smart services and developer-based services, such as developer and project registration and investor services.
