Ras al-Khaimah emiri establishes cultural club

Ras al-Khaimah is one of the emirates of United Arab Emirates Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah has issued an Emiri Decree No.11 of 2013 , establishing the Ras al-Khaimah Sports and Cultural Club.
The move comes in the light of the RAK Ruler\'s keenness on strengthening the sports and cultural movement in the emirate.
The first article of the decree, states that the club will be established under the name Ras Al-Khaimah Sports and Cultural Club and will be based at Al Oraibi Saih. It enjoys a legal status, financial autonomy and the right to take decisions which achieve its goals, including contracting and the right to litigate. Its statue will be published in the Official Gazette.
According to the second article, the club aims to practice sports activities and participate in sports competitions with other teams inside and outside the country, in addition to exercising all activities practiced by other sports clubs across the country.
