Exhibition includes work by artists like Muhammad Atif Khan
NM Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of "Magical Narratives", a group exhibition combining the new artworks by 15 prominent Pakistani artists. The exhibition, which debuts on December 4 at DIFC and
runs till the end of the year at NM Art Gallery, reflects upon the nature and the use of visual narratives as a bonding force in cultural and cross cultural contexts, and is inspired primarily by the various styles of miniature painting, one of the three distinctive forms of Islamic art, alongside calligraphy and illumination.
Founded by Nyla Qayoom Noorani and Maliha Bhutto Rahimtoola in 2009, NM Art Gallery aims to exhibit and celebrate the heritage of Islamic art, in addition to presenting art as a kind of narrative and expression of who we are as individuals and as a society.
