The "Ramadan Night’s Exhibition" has concluded with 78 per cent year-on-year growth rate in the number of visitors, as it attracted 108,569 visitors compared to 60,915 visitors in 2016.
The Exhibition was organised by Expo Centre Sharjah in observance of Ramadan and Eid period.
The 16-day exhibition was held as part of the 28th Sharjah Ramadan Festival, under the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This year's exhibition was marked by its euphoric ambience and exhibitors' discounts that attracted visitors and contributed to realising great revenues that exceeded all expectations.
Saif Mohamed Al-Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, stressed that Ramadan Nights Exhibition has reasserted its leading position as a distinguished social event that attracts large segments of UAE residents and visitors.
He also noted that the exhibition has become one of the most vital and leading economic events that attracts private companies to participate regularly.
Al-Midfa also explained that the continuing development and enhancement of the exhibition offerings has contributed to attracting more than 170 international and local exhibitors as well as elite international and national retailers.
Al-Midfa added that the exhibition has created an ideal atmosphere which attracted residents and visitors to spend pleasant Ramadan evenings, having a lot of shopping opportunities, delicious dining experiences from various international cuisines, and enjoying spacious areas for children’s recreational activities.
Al-Midfa also noted that the participating businesses expressed full satisfaction with the high level of organisation, services, and attendance in this season. They asserted that they realised huge revenues that exceeded expectations and broke previous seasons' record.
