Chairperson of Moroccan Wydad Casablanca Saeed Al Nasseri said that his team is vulnerable to a series of vicious attacks from unknown sides, considering that it is normal and happens with the big sporting clubs in the world.
He expressed his support for Wydad Casablanca’s coach Al Hussein Amouta, saying that Amouta will resume his role as a coach of the football team despite the rumors targeting him and the team from a large number of media platforms whether in Morocco or other Arab countries during the current critical period.
He stressed that the coach will remain in his position during the coming period due to the positive results he achieved since the beginning of his term as a coach of the Moroccan team. He underlined the achievements that the team achieve since he took the position, saying that the achievements push many haters to launch their criticism against the team.
He added that he managed to win Moroccan League and qualified for the semi-final of African Champions League for two consecutive seasons. He stressed that it is great honor for him to bear the responsibility of the Moroccan team. He stressed that he bears the responsibility of all administrative decisions taken in the club.
He stressed that he aspires to win more championships during the coming period whether on local or continental level, saying that Wydad’s officials are committed to their jobs and roles and are keen not to violate the roles of others.
Regarding the final round of African Champions League, he said that the team aspires to win the coming match against Al-Ahly scheduled to be held on Saturday in Rabat, saying that his team is ready to defeat the Egyptian team that enjoys huge experience. He stressed that his team realized previous mistakes and is prepared to win African Champions League.
He added that the players will be able to bridge the gap of the absence of the team’s player Mohamed Onajm , calling the fans for supporting the team during the match against Al-Ahly.
He added that decided to hold its general assembly at the end of the current year, contrary to recent years, considering that this step will be important in the history of the team to see the achievements of the club achieved during the whole season.
