Algerian side USM Algiers are preparing to hold on to their fifth-place top-spot in the national league tournament, ahead of a 24th-round clash with lagging side Widad Amel Tlemcen.
WA Tlemcen will host Algiers
, chasing three points after a poor stint this season.
The Tlemcen club is currently floundering in the lower-half of Algeria’s league game.
USM Algiers are not without their challenges though.
Five key players will be missing, including Hamza Kodary and Saad Togar, both out of action ahead of an Algerian national fixture against Benin on Tuesday.
Assistant coach Belal Dizery has reminded fans this will be a difficult match.
“We want to win this to keep our leading position in the championship,” the coach added.
