Raul has scored 9 goals in 22 matches for the Doha-based club
Former Real Madrid striker Raul has captained Qatari football club Al-Sadd to title glory.
The veteran forward, who moved to the Gulf club in 2012, secured his maiden League title after the
side\'s 3-1 win against Al-Kharitiyath.
The Blancos legend has had a decent season in Qatar, scoring nine goals in 21 League outings, Football Espana reported.
Al-Sadd, who missed out on this year\'s AFC Champions League after finishing fourth in the league last season, fell behind at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Saturday after Congolese striker Alain Kaluyituka gave Al Kharaitiyat the lead.
However, the hosts pulled level eight minutes into the second half when Khalfan Ibrahim struck, before Abdulkarim Hassan added goals in the 56th and 70th minute to wrap up the vital three points.
Coach Hussein Amotta told the club\'s official website: \"This is an incredible achievement for the club. It has been a lot of hard work but we have managed to reach our goal. I won the title at the club in 2001 [as a player] so it makes me very proud to have done the same thing as a manager.
\"I achieved success as a coach in Morocco but to do it here in Qatar with Al-Sadd is very special,\" the Moroccan added.
