Algeria – Hocine Bousalah
Algerian scorer Islam Silmani said his team ‘earned’ Sunday’s win against the Libyan national team.
Silmani scored the second goal against goalkeeper Mohammed Nashnoush.
He said the game strategy by coach Khalalozic and Libya’s weak defence are two factors that secured the win.
The strategy was based on an offensive start, with the Algerian Greens scoring two goals in the first eight minutes of the game.
He praised the team’s fans and the atmosphere they created before the match. He said it encouraged The Greens to perform their best.
