Haye claims the \'buzz\' is back
Former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye has dismissed talk of a showdown with undefeated British rival Tyson Fury.
Haye claims his name is being used as promotional ploy by Fury who claimed he would
knock the 32-year-old out.
Haye insisted an approach had been made in the past by his manager Adam Booth but this was rejected by the Fury camp.
\"From listening to what he says publicly, it sounds like it will be happening,\" said Haye.
\"But then Adam contacted his people and they don\'t want the fight. They pretty much said \'no, we\'re going in another direction\'.
\"That is fair enough, but if that is the case, maybe he should stop screaming and shouting about how much he wants to fight me.
\"But maybe if he didn\'t do that, he wouldn\'t get any coverage.
\"The only reason he is getting coverage is because he is using my name to make stories and get him column inches. Good luck to him.\"
Haye takes on Lebanese-born German Manuel Charr in June at the MEN Arena in Manchester and he says that he has once again found the boxing \"buzz\" for a world title.
Haye told Radio 5Live: \"I made the promise that I would retire at 30 and I did achieve my goals, but I want to get my title back and boxers get that buzz.
\"While there\'s a challenge there to regain my title, I\'ll go for it.\"
