Dunga is back in management after a 2 year break
Former Brazil player and manager Dunga has been appointed as the head coach of Brazilian club Internacional. The 49-year old, who was captain of Brazil\'s 1994 world cup winning team, is back at the club
where he started and ended his playing career.
Speaking to reporters, Dunga said: \"I never left Internacional, even after my playing career finished I have always been here as a fan. The Internacional job is like the Brazil job; you do not go when you want, you go when you are called.\"
Dunga is a replacement for Fernandao, who left the club last month after a poor campaign which saw the club finish the 2012 Brazilian Serie A championship in 9th place.
The former defensive midfielder has been out of the game since Brazil’s quarter-final exit at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
He is looking forward to working with top players like Uruguay striker Diego Forlan and Brazilian centre forward Leandro Damiao. \"We are building a team and evaluating players. President Giovanni Luigi already knows what I think,” he said.
