Casablanca\'s Abdelilah Hafidi scored in the 20th minute
Rabat – Hocine Idrissi
Raja Casablanca forced a 1-1 draw on Rabat’s Forces Armées Royales [FAR], strengthening its hold at the top of the Botola Pro first-division tables.
The Casablanca squad imposed the draw on its royal hosts in the postponed
ninth-round league fixture held Thursday evening at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
The Casablanca team was first to score with a goal by Abdelilah Hafidi at the 20-minute mark. The visitors’ joy did not last long, however, as FAR defender Mustapha Lemrani equalised for his team only two minutes later.
The score - Raja Casablanca’s fourth this season, along with seven wins and one defeat - brings the club’s tally to 25 points, two ahead of their royal Rabat rivals, who share the second spot on the league table with Wydad Casablanca with 23 points each.
