Chamakh is looking for first team opportunities
Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh has disclosed he would happily make the financial sacrifice and leave England for a return to former club Bordeaux in the summer.
The 29-year-old frontman has struggled to settle in England, since joining Arsenal from Bordeaux in 2010, and admits first team opportunities have been hard to come by.
Chamakh joined east London club West Ham, on loan in January, but failed to break into the first team once again.
The Moroccan told French publication 10 Sport: "Everybody knows that Bordeaux is still my favourite team,
"I know that returning to France would require some sacrifices on my part, but I can't go on like this.
"I will make sure an agreement is reached with Bordeaux, because I know that I won't be at Arsenal next season," he explained.
Chamakh is believed to be on a €60,000 per week salary at West Ham, a wage packet Bordeaux would struggle to match.
