Hadi: Yemen’s destiny hinges on the success of national dialogue
A young man has been killed in a bombing in Loder, in the Yemeni province of Aben.Authorities have blamed al-Qaeda for the attack, which rocked the city on Thursday. The young man was
reportedly planting the bomb when it exploded.Other sources have claimed the victim had no affiliation with any extremist organisation.
Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi has meanwhile warned of attempts to derail an upcoming national dialogue summit, following rumours about arms smuggling in the country’s south.
“Yemen’s destiny hinges on the success of national dialogue, so that the country does not fall into chaos,” the President said.
Hadi called dialogue talks “historic,” urging for all national parties to participate.
Yemen’s President has repeatedly criticised political forces he claims aim to impede and destroy the country’s political transition.
