Yemeni elite forces of Hadramout arrested a terrorist cell possessing heavy weapons, including a rocket launcher at Mokla city. According to a security source, the Yemeni forces raided abandoned house in the city upon intelligence information over the existence of a terrorist cell loyal to Qaeda.The source added that the forces arrested 20 extremists in the house, as they were possessing a large amount of heavy weapons, including a rocket launcher. The extremists were intending to use these weapons to attack military points in different areas on Hadramout’s coast.According to the source, the security raid surprised the extremist elements who did not have the opportunity to resist the elite forces. It added that most of extremist elements affiliate to northern governorates, saying that they were coming to the house for a long period of time using women clothes not to allow the citizens identify them.The security forces in the Yemeni governorate raised on Wednesday a state of security alert after the warning launched by Minister of Transportation Badr Basmallah over a new plan adopted by Qaeda targeting Hadramout’s coast.
