The tribal mediation managed to end clashes in Dhamar province, which broke out between Houthi rebels and government resistance in the district.
The tribal elders reached an agreement with the Houthis to release all abducted youth in the militia's prisons within 24 hours.
The Supreme Council of Dhamar Resistance condemned the recent escalation by the Houthi militias against residents of the province, through bombing farms and villages.
The council stressed in a statement that they will fight against the militias and push them out the province, according to vice president of the council Sheikh Abdul Aziz Almekdeshi.
