Warplanes carried out 10 raids at least after the midnight of Tuesday – Wednesday, on areas in Al-Shegher village and Al-Shegher junction, in the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur, and no information about casualties was reported yet, the Islamic factions also targeted by missiles last night, areas in Al-Fu’ah in the north-eastern countryside of Idlib which is inhabited by citizens of Shiite community, accompanied by opening fire of their heavy machineguns on the same areas, which resulted in the injury of two persons.
Violent clashes are still continuing between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities and clan forces with the participation of the Russian forces on one hand, and the members of the “Islamic State” organization on the other, in areas in the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, where the regime forces managed to cross in the 18th of September 2017.
Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the regime forces managed to achieve advancement in the area and imposed their control on 4 villages opposite Deir Ezzor city and its Military Airbase, on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River.
Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the regime forces managed to advance in the villages of Marrat, Hatla, Mazlum and Khesham, after bringing large military reinforcements of vehicles, supplies and members, which crossed the Euphrates River, through the moving bridges which were set up by Russia on the Euphrates River.
In the fourth consecutive day of returning the warplanes to carry out their raids which target the countryside of Aleppo province, the warplanes renewed their raids this morning targeting areas in Batabu town which is located in Atarib town in the western countryside of Aleppo.
Sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the strikes which were carried out this dawn the 27th of September 2017, targeted a school which caused great destruction in it, and no information about casualties was reported yet. However, a hospital in Darat Izza stopped working because of announcement that it became out of service as a result of the shelling on Darat Izza town in the western countryside of Aleppo.
Areas in al-Ghantu located in the northern countryside of Homs, were shelled by the regime forces, no information about casualties, while the clashes continue between the regime forces supported by the gunmen loyal to them against members of the “Islamic State” organization on areas in the eastern countryside of Homs.
The Syrian army forces and allied militias managed, on Wednesday, to recapture a number of strategic villages, near Jub Jarrah area, in the eastern countryside of Homs, Qasioun News reported.
Security sources informed that the Syrian army forces recaptured the villages of Um al-Soos, Kharafish, Rasm al-Arnab, Ghazila, Rak, Um Howaish and Safya, northeast of Jub Jarrah, in the eastern countryside of Homs, after violent clashes with the Islamic State militants, resulting in the killing of several militants and reducing IS-held areas to less than 200 square kilometers.
Furthermore, the Syrian army forces managed to recapture Uqayribat area, in eastern Hama, completely, backed by intensive Russian air strikes.
It is noteworthy that Syrian army forces carried out an extensive offensive, in order to drive out the Islamic State militants from the eastern countryside of Homs and Hama, as well as imposing a siege on the area
