Abdul Raqib Fateh, Yemen's Minister of Local Administration and Chairman of the Higher Relief Committee has confirmed that the Houthi coup militias' putting obstacles in front of rapid humanitarian access to those in need was an act of terrorism.
"The contemporary human values and the principles of the civilized world are thus facing a real and practical test of the systematic violations of the Yemeni people by the Houthi militia," Fatah told the official Yemeni news agency.
He pointed out that "the violations against humanitarian aid and the looting of aid are actions that require condemnation and serious positions from the international community."
He pointed out that the repeated targeting of relief and commercial vessels and the refusal to allow the passage of aid constitute a hindrance to humanitarian work and a threat to international navigation.
