Coalition aircraft intensified its air raids in the coastal strip, near Hodeida port , as a prelude to break into the city that was controlled by Houthis, since 2014, in conjunction with violent raids on Bajil town, east of Hodeida.
The air raids on Bajil targeted military points in the city center, resulting in dozens of injuries and the disruption of traffic link between Sana'a and Hodeidah.
Houthis rebels and forces loyal to former Yemeni President Ali Saleh, intensified their attacks on the Saudi border.
Houthi sources told Arabs Today that Houthis militants targeted with number of shells the Saudi forces positions in al-Dukhan Mountain, in addition to bombing sites in al-Doud Mountain and other sites in the territory of Gazan city.
The Saudi Interior indicated in a statement that one of the border guards was killed exchanging of gunfire with rebels in the Jizan region.
Gunman assassinated Col. Mukhtar Mohammed Hassan. Sources stressed that the gunman fired at the Colonel Mukhtar near his home in Aden directorate, pointing out that the Colonel died before his arrival to the hospital.
Security forces arrested managed to arrest the man who assassinated the Colonel, shortly after the crime and took him for investigation.
