The Arab Movement of Azawad seized control a checkpoints in the city of Timbuktu in the territory of Azawad after the withdrawal of government soldiers, while the organizing committee in charge of the appointment of the transitional authorities decided to postpone the selection of the governor of Taoudenni indefinitely. The egotiations began in the capital of Mali, "Bamako" in order to find a solution to the insurgency sparked by the authorities.
