Las Vegas tourism officials can now claim that Sin City has the world's largest Ferris Wheel. The so-called High Roller opened Monday to its first public ticket-holders, who were treated to a birds-eye view of Vegas from as high as 550-feet in the air. The High Roller was commissioned by Caesars Entertainment, and is housed at The LINQ, an new open-air dining and entertainment district. "It's really an art piece on the Las Vegas skyline, from the dynamic lighting sequences to the overall engineering and architecture that it adds to the skyline," LINQ General Manager Jon Gray said in a statement. "It's a new icon that everyone, locals and tourists alike, have embraced. We've really enhanced the Las Vegas skyline."
