Warsaw’s Chopin airport will remain closed for all passenger jets until early Thursday, Polish media reported. A Boeing 767 airliner whose landing gear failed made an emergency gear-up landing in the airport on Tuesday. None of the 231 people on board the Polish national carrier Lot-operated jet was injured in the incident, which occurred on a scheduled flight from Newark, New Jersey. A power system failure prevented the plane\'s crew from extending the landing gear. Boeing experts are on their way to Warsaw to help the Polish side safely remove the damaged aircraft from the runway. Earlier it was reported that the airport will be opened on Wednesday morning.
