The Turkish Embassy in Uganda has disowned its citizen Emmina Baro who was recently rearrested for molesting about 50 underage girls in various districts in Uganda. Emin Baro was recently rearrested over molesting more than 50 young girls in Mukono, Jinja and Masaka. He is alleged to have forced at least 50 young girls to suck his genitals. Baro pleaded guilty to charges of dealing in child pornographic material and computer misuse. The Turkish ambassador to Uganda Melih Uleuren says Emmin Baro has never been a citizen of Turkey and does not feature anywhere in their records. He says Baro has also never been a teacher in Turkey and says the information he provided was deliberately misleading. The embassy says Emin Baro was found with a Macedonian passport, adding that his association with the embassy was meant to tarnish its image. Baro who confessed to having molested over 50 Ugandan girls was sentenced to two years in prison or a fine of 6 Million shillings. The sentence is however to be reviewed by the High Court with the magistrate said to have overstepped her authority in delivering a sentence for a case beyond her court. The Inspector General of Police Lt General Kale Kaihura also indicated that investigations are ongoing and fresh charges will be preferred against Baro.
