Tunisia, Syphax to connect Sfax and Istanbul

Despite its ongoing difficulties, which have seen a bitter feud with Tunisair over ground services at Tunis airport, the new Syphax Airlines is continuing its expansion programme, announcing that it is to begin connections with Turkey, having already begun a daily link with Paris, African Manager reports. The first flight from Sfax-Thyna airport to Istanbul takes off next Saturday. The airline is initially scheduling two flights per week on the route, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
