The General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior has set all the preparations for the road closures which will be required for the Challenge Bahrain international triathlon championship on Saturday.
The closures will be as follows:
King Faisal Road will be closed from 6:00am to 11:30am (vehicles will not be allowed to pass through).
Shaikh Isa bin Salman Highway will be closed from 7:40am to 10:30am (The route from Manama to Muharraq will be closed, and alternative directions will be open from Muharraq).
Arad road will be closed from 7:40am to 10:30am (The route from Muharraq to Arad will be closed, and alternative directions will be open from Arad to Muharraq).
Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway will be closed from 7:40am to 10:30am.
Al Fateh Mosque Highway will be closed from 8:00am to 10:30am.
Over the Bahrain Bay Causeway and King Faisal Road will be closed from 8:00am to 10:30am.
Zallaq Road will be closed from 8:30am until 12:10pm.
For the running lane, the road from Bahrain International Circuit to Bahrain Bay will be closed from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and the Bahrain Bay street will be closed in the opposite lane from 9:00am until 5:00pm.
