Tourism Minister Khalid Ramy held meetings on Tuesday with newly appointed ambassadors to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Czech to discuss the ministry's plan to increase tourist arrivals.
During his meeting with Egypt's Ambassador to the UAE Wael Gad, the minister highlighted the importance of moving Egypt's tourism office from Istanbul to Abu Dhabi. The new office would oversee the market in the Arab world.
They discussed a promotional campaign planned to be launched soon to cover tourist destinations.
Ramy suggested organizing new events to encourage Arab tourists to visit Egypt.
Meantime, he discussed operating scheduled flights to Prague to increase tourist arrivals coming from Czech.
