Tiger Airways has launched a ‘Tiger Speed Sale’ promotion with special fares on flights to eight popular destinations across the region, including Ho Chi Minh and Penang (from Sin$28 one-way), Bangkok and Phuket (from Sin$38 one-way), Hong Kong and Shenzhen (from Sin$48 one-way), and Taipei and Guangzhou (from $68 one-way) – inclusive of taxes and charges. Travellers can catch the ‘Tiger Speed Sale’ at surprise 90-minute timeslots taking place on 19, 20, 23 and 24 April 2012 – with different destinations on offer each day. Tiger Airways’ Stripes members will get a chance to be ahead of the pack, with access to the promotional fares 30 minutes earlier. Tiger Airways’ Stripes Membership costs Sin$29.95 per annum. Stewart Adams, Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore, said, “We recognise that Singaporeans spend hours on the internet each day and are always hungry for a good deal. Tiger Airways’ ‘Tiger Speed Sale’ presents a great opportunity for travellers who are constantly online and plugged into social media to score big savings on airfares to their next holiday.” The travel period for the promotional fares varies for different routes, but starts from 24 June 2012 and ends on 8 November 2012.
