Jeddah - Arabstoday

With its brand new interiors and flashy exteriors, The Terrace is here to set its mark on the brink of Jeddah’s Corniche. The lounge just about the right mix of jazzy and casual milieu with warm earthy colors indoors and wooden plans and guilds outdoors. The location is great and you wish they would have clear glass instead to reflect the sea view. Nonetheless, you can enjoy your private time on the terrace with comforting food and flavorful sheesha. Located side by side to Happy Land, parents have the great option of relaxing and treating their children to a fun ride. There is more to do, in case you are wondering. You can enjoy bowling with your friends and family simultaneously. A bowling alley is allocated to the left of the restaurant, giving you easier access to The Terrace afterwards. With its first branch in Jeddah, The Terrace is a brand new concept created and executed by “B-Concept” company and can seat up to 160 people. It offers the generic Continental array of options from burgers, pastas, sandwiches, Panini and pizzas to crepes and healthy salads. Nothing is especially stupendous but the meals are a fairly good deal for the non-fussy eaters looking to spend quality time with their loved ones. Their Mint lemonade is refreshing and the vast choice of drinks is overwhelming. Their best selling items are the old fashioned mushroom soup, which comes in an interesting fresh bread bowl. Louisiana Shrimps are butterfly style shrimps battered with spices, bread coated and deep fried to perfection and served with Calypso sauce on the side. Their Lasagna Al Forno is treat for pasta lovers with meat and marinara sauce cooked with creamy cheese. The Chicken Caesar salad is a mix of crispy fresh lettuce and rocca leaves with marinated grilled chicken breast strips tossed with their signature secret Caesar dressing and herbed croutons, served with Parmesan flakes and grissini. The other stars on the menu are Tagliatelle al Pollo Fungi, Fine Tagliatelle pasta served with a secret recipe of creamy sauce and tossed with herb marinated grilled chicken and served with mushrooms, parmesan cheese and garlic bread. Their Spicy Chicken Panini is served with spicy marinated chicken topped with cheddar cheese along with Cajun mayo mustard spread, crispy lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber pickles and cheddar. Their Chateaubriand Steak is US Tenderloin marinated and grilled steak served with gravy and an assortment of vegetables.Make sure you leave space for dessert and try their crepes — chocolate infused delights. If you are a peanut butter fan, then try Nonna’s Crepe to balance the sweetness. If you are looking for something private and undiscovered by the crowd, try The Terrace on an early morning in the gorgeous weather in Jeddah. Grab a book and relish the unusual breeze as you face the Red Sea. The only plus point is you will have delightful items, mainly food, drinks and sheesha to keep you occupied as you soak in the peaceful setting. Their comfortable lounge seating allows each table to switch off and watch TV. If you don\'t like the music, you can pick your own channel at your convenience. The setting changes to warm red infused lights transforming the brightly lit interiors into a more private and loungy feel later at night. Then, it feels more like Jeddah at night: contemporary and zesty.
