A committee formed from the department of investment and survey, and Matrouh city council started survey operations from Sidi Hanish area to Ras El Hekma village in preparation for floating the area at world bourses of tourist investments.
Matrouh governor major general Alaa Abou Zeid said in statements on Sunday the project would push forward the development wheel in the country and provide job opportunities for the region's residents.
He said the survey operations will take into consideration the rights of residents, pointing out that representatives of the tribes in the area will take part in the survey process.
