A Polish airport received a suspected hoax bomb threat to a Ryanair flight that was due to take off this morning, according to media reports.
Ryanair says that Modlin Airport in the Polish capital of Warsaw received an anonymous threat stating that there was an explosive device on a plane that was due to depart for Oslo at 08.40 local time (09.40 am Irish time).
Airport security was ordered and an immediate inspection of the aircraft was carried out, the plane had not yet been boarded. The airport was also closed to all inbound flights as a precaution.
