Pakistan International Airlines hosted its annual dinner party for travel agents and corporate representatives. All prominent selling agents participated in the event along with Sabre area manager for Qatar and Oman, Tareek H Hassib, and PIA general sales agent Qatar Tours sales manager Murtaza Ali. PIA country manager Jan Mohamed Mahar said the airline will soon overcome the current crisis under the leadership of the new chairman/CEO Air Chief Marshal (Retd) Rao Qamar Suleman and his team. He pointed out that 13 aircraft are expected on lease in a few months to meet the shortage in the GCC and regional sectors. Five new Boeing 777 aircraft will be added to PIA fleet by 2015. He also briefed the guests on PIA’s new product, the FORI TICKET which can be purchased from any Telenor Easypaisa outlet (in Pakistan only).
