Passengers movement increased during the month of September 2013 by six percent compared to the same period last year, said the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in a report Monday. According to a press release by the DGCA the number of passengers exceeded 859,000 with 520,000 arriving in the country while some 339,000 departed Kuna reported. The total number of flights for September had reached 7,441, said the DGCA, adding that commercial flights had reached 7,029. On cargo traffic, the DGCA said that an amount of 14 million kilograms of cargo was transported during September.
