A passenger plane with 120 people on board on Monday evacuated in emergency conditions soon after the flight landed at Mumbai airport as the pilot suspected smoke coming out from the engine.
All 120 passengers and crew members on the flight were safely evacuated. The Air India flight AI-620 had took off from Hyderabad city.
Smoke was detected as the plane was preparing to make landing at the airport.
Media reports quoting officials said the emergency landing prevented a potential disaster and the plane was taken for a thorough checking to locate the snag.
