A French woman who was removed from a flight from Paris to Charlotte, N.C., in Bangor, Maine, will not be held in the United States, prosecutors said. Lucie Zeeko Merigot, 41, spent a night in the Penobscot County Jail after she was arrested at Bangor airport Tuesday, CNN reported. U.S. Attorney Thomas Delahanty said Wednesday the FBI interviewed flight crew on US Airways Flight 787 and other passengers and decided to return her to France. Merigot told flight attendants doctors had implanted some sort of device in her that she could not control. She was examined in Maine and no surgical scars were found.
