NTA and the United Motorcoach Association have adjusted the dates of their new January 2013 trade show to give attending members more access to each other. “By fine-tuning the schedule, we created a more effective format for attendees to do business together,” said Lisa Simon, NTA President, “And that’s why we’re there together: to double the opportunities for buying and selling, double the leads generation, and double the networking.” NTA and UMA are separate travel associations with different members, but during the five days of Travel Exchange, they’ll join forces for a trade show that puts on one floor the full spectrum of professionals buying and selling travel to, from, and within North America. Travel Exchange features components that both associations’ members seek in an annual trade show: one-on-one business appointments between buyers and sellers, an exhibit floor to showcase the latest developments in the industry, and a full slate of professional development sessions to help attendees hone business skills. “NTA and UMA members are go-getters and are always looking for more business prospects,” said Simon, “By combining the business-building of two shows and two strong organizations, we’re going to deliver those opportunities on a much larger scale than we ever could as a single association.” NTA and UMA have set Travel Exchange dates and sites for the next three years: • Orlando, Florida, January 20–24, 2013 • Los Angeles, California, February 16–20, 2014 • New Orleans, Louisiana, January 17–21, 2015
