Cebu Pacific won't charge you anything for rebooking and changes in flight details if these are made within 24 hours of the original booking, The Filipino Times reports.
The waiving of the fees was implemented on August 1.
Earlier, passengers had to pay P1,500 (Dh107) for rebooking of domestic flights, P2,300 (Dh165) for short-haul flights and P2,500 (Dh178) for long-haul flights.
Penalties for booking amendments that will require changes to the flight sequence were also waived, the airline said in a statement.
"Rebooking and cancellation fees have been a key concern for passengers, especially those who have been able to avail of low fares," Cebu Pacific vice president for corporate affairs JR Mantaring was quoted as saying in the report.
He added, "This will benefit them as it truly makes flying with Cebu Pacific more affordable."
