Saudi Arabia’s national carrier nasair received the Best Interactive Award from Pan Arab Awards Academy under Airlines Category in Amman recently. This is the first time the airlines category is added under Facebook application awards. Nasair Facebook is one of the most engaged airline on Facebook in MENA region as per Social Watch list website, which weekly monitors the Facebook pages in MENA region. Nasair Interactive Director Akram Husain expressed his happiness for this achievement and said the airline proudly dedicated this award to nasair customers and fans. He promised continued growth with more appealing promotions and competitions from nasair social media. Launched in the Kingdom in February 2007, nasair has transported more than 9 million passengers and is a pioneering ‘Smart Airline’ thanks to its four core values of — Being on Time, Competitive Fares, Young Fleet and Smart Services. Serving passengers with 524 weekly flights, the young fleet consists of 16 aircraft and covers 24 destinations both within and outside Saudi Arabia.
