Two pieces of plane debris have been found in Madagascar and one more on Kangaroo Island in Australia, an official said Friday.
Blaine Gibson, the American man who previously found debris in Mozambique that is "almost certainly" from Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, contacted the Australian authorities about the two new pieces of debris in Madagascar, the spokesman for the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB), told dpa.
"We are in contact with him. The debris may have come from MH370. We have received images of the debris," he added.
He said the bureau has been informed of another item found on Kangaroo Island in South Australia that may also have come from MH370.
