Some passengers onboard a Delhi-bound Oman Air flight from Muscat required medical assistance after the aircraft encountered a short period of heavy clear air turbulence, the airline said in a notice uploaded on its official twitter handle.
"The aircraft experienced a sudden loss of altitude after hitting an air pocket," the airline said in a statement.
"The aircraft landed safely at Delhi International Airport and all the affected guests received the required medical assistance without delay."
