A man who took a Delta Airlines flight from London to Minneapolis said his luggage was sent to three incorrect locations before it arrived smelling of urine. Sy Haze said the ticket agent in London gave him a boarding pass for Boston and he did not notice the mistake until his bag had been sent to the plane, Time magazine reported Thursday. Haze said the agent, who complained of being on medication for a toothache, told him the bag would be redirected, but instead it continued on to Boston, where it was then sent back to London. He said the bag made another trip to Boston before it was reunited with him in Minneapolis. Haze, who posted a video on YouTube Tuesday, the day he received his luggage, said the bag was damp and smelled of urine when it arrived. Haze said he called Delta to complain and he was treated rudely by customer service. Delta released a statement addressing the incident. "We are talking with the customer to apologize for the misdirected bag and secure information on the condition in which his bag was returned to identify a cause and offer resolution. As it relates to the actual handling of the bag, if anything happened outside of our normal procedures it is unacceptable and will be closely reviewed."
