Park Hotel Group has appointed Mr Melvin Lim as Vice President. In this role, Melvin will oversee the performance of the group’s portfolio of hotels in Greater China, including Grand Park Kunming, Grand Park Wuxi, Grand Park Xian and Park Hotel Hong Kong. Melvin will be working closely with the respective General Managers and various corporate management team members to enhance revenue and profits. In addition, he will be tasked with the further development of the group’s Greater China presence through investment opportunities and hotel management contracts. Melvin will report directly to Mr Allen Law, CEO of Park Hotel Group. With more than 20 years of industry experience under his belt, Melvin has held senior management positions in hotels within Asia Pacific, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Park Hotel Group, he was the General Manager at several hotels under an international hotel chain. “We are pleased to have Melvin on board Park Hotel Group as we continue to look to expansion in the Asia Pacific region,” said Mr Law. “With his extensive experience and proven leadership in the hospitality industry, we are positive that Melvin will add value to the Group’s management team, which will together, heighten Park Hotel Group’s presence and strengthen our brand in the region and beyond.”
