Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour inspected on Thursday the Queen Alia International Airport as well as the movement of passengers which is going smoothly.
Ensour, who was accompanied by Interior Minister Hussein Majali, State Minister for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani and Transport Minister Lina Shbib, stressed the importance of taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of all passengers.
He also called for continuing coordination with all concerned agencies to inform passengers of any delays or cancellation of their flights as this would save them both times and effort.
President and CEO of the Royal Jordanians Haitham Misto briefed the prime minister on preparations taken by the RJ to deal with the weather conditions, noting that 95 percent of all flights today were normal.
The prime minister also visited today the Jiza District where he was briefed on economic and tourism activities in the district as well as on efforts to keep the airport road open for passengers’ movement.
