Jazeera Airways launches its new frequent flyer program, called the Jazeerati Program, whereby a customer, whether an individual or a whole family, gets a free ticket after ten flights with the airways within a year. Jazeera Airways CEO Stefan Pichler announced the royalty program he described as "simple, easy, and gimmick-free." "Fly 10 times over a period of one year and get a free flight in our network. It doesn't matter how short or long your flight was, or even how much you paid. And the best part about it is, it applies to your household. No miles, no account levels, all that our travelers have to do is fly enough times and keep their boarding passes to redeem their free flight." The free ticket could be redeemed a full year after it is due a customer, and could be collected from any Jazeera branch, the company said. Established in 2005, Jazeera Airways Group is a Kuwait Stock Exchange-listed company with over 12,000 shareholders. The company has 11 fully-owned Airbus A320s in operation, distributed between its airline business, Jazeera Airways (six aircraft), and its fully-owned leasing business, Sahaab Aircraft Leasing (five aircraft). Sahaab has assets placed with Virgin America, SriLankan Airlines, and Jazeera Airways. Jazeera Airways is an IATA member airline and operates one of the youngest Airbus A320 fleet in the Middle East.
